Finding an Outfit at MME

To make the search for outfits easier at Material Middle-earth, I'll be breaking the tags I've used over the past two years into categories. Even though the sidebar on the main page features colors, race, and class, there are other tags that have been used. This page should chronicle them all in an easy to navigate format in addition to explaining my reasons for categorizing them the way I do.

(Please pardon the general mess here. Blogspot doesn't offer a table tool in the templates, so I've been trying to teach myself HTML to make them. I'll be cleaning this up as I go along, but there will be placeholder text to both even out and flesh out the tables. So, if you find a tag link that doesn't link, that means it either doesn't currently exist or it will shortly!)

Color Tags
Versus tagging specific dyes, I'll use the general colors found in an outfit to reduce the number of tags and make each category more inclusive. For example, the blue tag can represent colors from turquoise to evendim blue to ered luin blue. Purple could cover indigo, violet, and rose. It's also crucial to mention that the color tag I use will depend on how a given article of clothing dyes. Even though I may have dyed something burgundy, it could find itself under the purple or red tag. Originally, there were twenty two dye tags! Twelve is much more manageable.

Black Blue Brown Gold Green Grey
Orange Pink Purple Red White Yellow

Race and Gender
This category sorts outfits based on the race and gender that models it. Be warned, this blog is heavy on the females! (Even though there's a tag for them, I haven't had a chance to experiment with Dwarves myself yet!)

Male Elf Man Male Hobbit Male Dwarf
Female Elf Woman Female Hobbit Female Dwarf

Player Classes
This category sorts outfits based on the class that models it. Even though there may be no weapons or obvious indicators in some posts, class-specific skills were used in several of them. This makes it easier to identify the source of the animations featured!

Beorning Burglar Captain Champion
Guardian Hunter Lore-master Minstrel
Rune-keeper Warden

"Series" Themed Outfits
Occasionally, I'll dabble in special collections of outfits with specific purposes in mind. You'll find those here.
